The City of Leeds Swimming Club returned from a five year absence to storm to 3rd place in the 2011 National Arena Swimming League Cup Final.

In the closest final for a number of years the City of Leeds Swimming Club finished in 3rd place, just 5 points ahead of Hatfield.
Swimming in lane 1 the City of Leeds made a good start with 5 top 3 finishes in the first 10 events. However after 16 events City of Leeds had dropped to 7th and the fight back began.
The City of Leeds climbed gradually back up the leader board and by the time the final relay events began the City of Leeds were in 3rd place. In a tense finale the City of Leeds continued their good work holding onto a well deserved 3rd place.
With 20 top 3 finishes including 4 event wins over the 50 events it was the City of Leeds consistency that helped them to the their 3rd place finish.
