Account Log In, Covid Screening, Medical Info & Photo Consent

Thank you to those par­ents who have now man­aged to set up their online accounts.

We have had a cou­ple of emails from par­ents who are strug­gling to get on, and so we have pro­vid­ed fur­ther instruc­tions in this post.

Please click on the link at the top right of this page, and every page on the web­site, titled Login.

On this page, again click the ​“Login” but­ton, then, as it is your first time log­ging in, click ​“For­got pass­word?”. Now, enter your email address and then set your password.

On the Login page, you can now use your email address and pass­word to log in.

Once logged in, you should find that your swimmer(s) are auto­mat­i­cal­ly linked to your account.

On the home­page, please fill in the Covid survey.

Please add any med­ical infor­ma­tion we may need to know about your child by click­ing on ​“My Mem­bers”, your swim­mer’s name and edit med­ical notes.

On the same page please scroll down and edit your pho­tog­ra­phy pref­er­ences. This will allow team staff to know who we can take pho­tos of at com­pe­ti­tions, for our web­site, social media and notice board etc.

Par­ents should decide who will be the main hold­er of the account when they set up. There is the option to then add an addi­tion­al par­ent to your account once you are set up using the instruc­tions below.

By click­ing on your pro­file set­tings on the right-hand side of the screen, which can be found just under your name, there is the option to sign up to receive any news or mes­sages by email or text.

The City of Leeds Swim­ming Club is cur­rent­ly in the process of mov­ing all com­pe­ti­tion entries, SE mem­ber­ship and club fees online. Due to Covid, we must go paper-free.

Each par­ent will be receiv­ing an email with a login and pass­word for their account. Please fol­low the instruc­tions to set­up your account. A link to the login page will be added to the web­site in the next few days.

My account log in

Once your account is set up, you will be able to log in and check your child’s infor­ma­tion. It would be help­ful to add any med­ical details and emer­gency con­tacts to your child’s account. This sys­tem will then allow staff to con­tact you in the event of an emer­gency at a com­pe­ti­tion or away trip.

For future com­pe­ti­tions, this plat­form will be used to sub­mit and pay for entries. You will no longer need to get a sig­na­ture from your coach, as they will be able to log in and approve your entries online.

Hope­ful­ly, this will make the process of enter­ing com­pe­ti­tions much eas­i­er for you. Entry forms will no longer need to be hand­ed in to the Deni­son Suite on a Mon­day evening. Instead, you will be able to enter and make pay­ment online at any time before the clos­ing date. The sys­tem will also allow our Trea­sur­er to issue refunds at the click of a button.

Addi­tion­al­ly, your account will have a mes­sage sys­tem that you can sign up to. Should your coach need to con­tact you urgent­ly, e.g. because of a ses­sion can­cel­la­tion, this sys­tem will allow them to noti­fy you quickly.

Par­ents should decide who will be the main hold­er of the account when they set it up. Once set­up is com­plete, there is the option to then add an addi­tion­al par­ent to the account by using the fol­low­ing instructions:

It may be a few more weeks before we are up and run­ning, but it would be a great help if you could start by cre­at­ing your account at your ear­li­est convenience.

Support Your Club With Easy Fundraising

The City of Leeds Swim­ming Club are always look­ing for new ways to raise funds to sup­port our swim­mers. And to this end, the club has reg­is­tered with Easy Fundraising.

Easy​fundrais​ing​.org​.uk helps char­i­ties, schools, sports clubs, com­mu­ni­ty groups, and oth­er good caus­es to raise mon­ey when their sup­port­ers shop on line. So far they have raised over £3 mil­lion for caus­es through­out the UK.

It works in a sim­i­lar way to many oth­er loy­al­ty shop­ping sites, but instead of earn­ing points when you shop, you raise a dona­tion for City of Leeds Swim­ming Club instead. It’s as sim­ple as that!

I am sure with Christ­mas fast approach­ing most of us will be doing our shop­ping on line, so please reg­is­ter with Easy Fundrais­ing, it real­ly is a very sim­ple way to boost funds for the club.

Cancellation of 2020 Annual General Meeting

Due to the unprece­dent­ed cir­cum­stances caused by the COVID-19 virus, under Rule 7.11 of the Con­sti­tu­tion­al Rules for the City of Leeds Swim­ming Club the Exec­u­tive have passed a bylaw to can­cel the Annu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing for 2020.

Update on Spring Development Meet Refunds

We hope you are all well and hope­ful­ly look­ing for­ward to return­ing to train­ing soon. See below for guid­ance on obtain­ing refunds for the Spring Devel­op­ment Meet.

In April, the deci­sion was made to trans­fer all entries from the Spring Devel­op­ment Meet to the Sum­mer Devel­op­ment Meet, which we hoped would be able to take place. Unfor­tu­nate­ly, due to the ongo­ing Coro­n­avirus sit­u­a­tion, we are unsure when it will be safe to com­pete again. There­fore, we have had to can­cel the Sum­mer Devel­op­ment Meet as well.

Entries paid in the Deni­son Suite on a Mon­day evening (main­ly Coun­ty Squads swimmers)

We are now in a posi­tion to refund any entry fees that were paid direct­ly to the swim­ming club in the Deni­son Suite at John Charles. To obtain a refund, please send the fol­low­ing details to leedsentries@​gmail.​com:

  • Name of swimmer
  • Name of the account hold­er the refund will be paid to
  • Sort code
  • Account num­ber

Due to the large amount of emails, we hope to process your refund with­in 14 days.

Entries paid to Leeds City Coun­cil over the phone or at leisure cen­tre recep­tions (main­ly Stage 8 swimmers)

As the com­pe­ti­tion did not take place, any entry fees paid over the phone or at the leisure cen­tre recep­tions will not have been trans­ferred to the swim­ming club’s account. There­fore, any­one who paid over the phone or at a leisure cen­tre recep­tion must request a refund from the leisure cen­tre once they reopen.

City of Sheffield No Frills Meet Cancelled

Due to the ongo­ing sit­u­a­tion with the coro­n­avirus out­break we are unfor­tu­nate­ly hav­ing to refund anoth­er com­pe­ti­tion in our calendar.

We are now in a posi­tion to start the refund­ing process for the City of Sheffield Snow Frills Meet. If you could please email leedsentries@​gmail.​com with the fol­low­ing details:

This will then be passed onto the Club Trea­sur­er with the cor­rect amount to be refund­ed to your account.

Rotherham Metro Springtime Meet Cancelled

Due to the cur­rent ongo­ing Nation­al sit­u­a­tion and restric­tions we can con­firm that the above event is now cancelled.

We will of course refund all entry fees and we appre­ci­ate your patience whilst we organ­ise this under these dif­fi­cult circumstances.

Rother­ham Metro Spring­time Meet

At present we are still await­ing con­fir­ma­tion that this meet is can­celled. Once we have received a refund from Rother­ham into the Leeds account, we can start the refund process for this com­pe­ti­tion. We will be in touch as soon as we have this information.

National Qualifier Meet Cancelled

Fol­low­ing the lat­est announce­ment from the UK Gov­ern­ment, which advis­es against non-essen­tial con­tact and mass gath­er­ings of peo­ple, The City of Leeds Swim­ming Club can con­firm that the Nation­al Qual­i­fi­er Meet, due to be held at John Charles between 17th & 19th April, has been cancelled.

The City of Leeds Entries Team will be in touch with clubs short­ly to arrange refunds where applicable.

Spring Development Meet Cancelled

Swimmers Selected For Swim England County Pathway Programme

We are delight­ed that the fol­low­ing swim­mers from the City of Leeds have been select­ed to be part of the Swim Eng­land Coun­ty Path­way Pro­gramme for 2020.

The Coun­ty Path­way Pro­gramme has been devel­oped by the Eng­land Pro­grammes Team.

Swim­mers have been select­ed as a result of their per­for­mances at the York­shire Swim­ming Cham­pi­onships in Feb­ru­ary 2020.

In total, 24 swim­mers have been select­ed (12 Male & 12 Female), all of whom will be 11 years of age at the 31st Decem­ber 2020.

The pro­gramme will con­sist of three one day camps to be held at Ashville Col­lege, Green Lane, Har­ro­gate, HG2 9JP, on the 5th April, 5th July & 27th Sep­tem­ber 2020.

Swimmers Shortlisted For Leeds Sports Awards

Con­grat­u­la­tions to Leah Crisp who has been short­list­ed as a final­ists for the Young Sports­woman award, and to the Junior League​‘A’ Team who have been short­list­ed as a final­ist in the Young Achiev­ers cat­e­go­ry for the Young Club/​Team – Par­tic­i­pa­tion award.

The win­ners will be announced at the pres­ti­gious Leeds Sports Awards on Thurs­day 27th Feb­ru­ary at the First Direct Arena.
